Description
As part of a corporate public service day, Omnicom corporation hired us to help their employees implement some exciting landscaping projects in collaboration with the kids and staff at this state institution, which is located on a beautiful old estate just outside Budapest. The project included creating a perennial garden in the courtyard of the institute's Special Needs facility and also building a conceptual garden -- the "world compass."

The compass garden consists of 12 benches oriented in different geographic directions, with an engraved stone compass in the middle. A granite paving stone path leads to each bench, which is painted with the flag of the country oriented in that direction from the compass. Each bench also has that country's capital and its distance in kilometers from Fót.
